Annual Choir Camp

Held every year in early August, the day camp is 3 days of singing, learning, playing, swimming, and crafts, with a mini-performance and pizza party on the last day.

Singers will build skills and literacy, learn songs we will sing in the season, make friends and have FUN!

WHO - WHERE - WHEN

  • Ages 8-18 (unchanged voices), all skill levels

  • Pleasant Grove Library, 30 E Center St

  • August 4-6, 2025

  • Schedule: Mon 8:30-4:00; Tues 9:00-4:00; Wed 9:00-5:00

Cost: $75 per singer
     *$10 discount if you bring a friend (siblings count!) who is new to UCC--and friend gets the same discount! New in 2025—children of alumni get $10 discount!

What is Choir Camp?

A place to make friends with other young singers, including Utah Children's Choir members! (But you don't need to be a member to come to Camp!) Learn about singing, increase choral and musical skills, and put skills to practice by learning a few songs to sing for families on the last day. We'll have lots of fun with crafts, games, swimming, and a pizza party, as well!

What do I need to bring?

Wear casual clothes, comfy shoes, and bring a sack lunch each day. At check-in Monday morning you will receive a schedule and music packet. There is a discount price of approximately $2.50 for swimming on Mon and Tues, and a nominal fee for crafts--you can sign up for these activities at check-in on Monday. There will be a snack bar available daily if you wish to purchase a snack.

Do you need parent help?

Yes! We need volunteers to help at the camp with crafts, swimming (transport and supervision), lunch supervision, pizza party, and end-of-day pick-up supervision. You can volunteer at the end of the registration form.

When do we sing the songs we learn?

The culminating activity will be a "Sing In" performance and a pizza party on Wednesday afternoon. Family and friends are invited to come and hear what we've worked on!
